    Hey Gang,

It's that time again for Cruising The Coast so if you want to come down for The Best, The Biggest Hot Rod Run On The Planet, then head to the Mississippi Gulf Coast this fall.

    Website:

You literally have 30 miles of beachfront road for cruising and venues in every city along the coast have something going on so come down and pass a good time.

    Heck Yes Jeff, Bring Da-Vette.

I'm hoping to be sporting my MK-4 in Red Gelcoat since I sold my 1995 Vette to my pal because his wife hates me.
Baby Go-Dad will be in his 2000 Camaro, which is currently getting his new Sunoco Hood painted.
Shown below is my former cuiser and Baby Go-Dad's Hot Rod!

PS: I sold my pal the C-4 for $2,000.00 because he wouldn't accept it as a gift so is wife is now Really P-----d at me now!

    Bump-Bump-Bump:

We have enough room to park 2 or 3 large campers and/or motor-homes at Camp Go-Dad-Go.
Please let me know, via this forum, if any any of you long haulers want to make the trek.

Hey Steve, Do you know how long it has been since NHRA held the Cajin Nationals? We attended one year, 1984 or 1985. The track was somewhere west of NOLA if I remember correctly. One of the Pro Stock drivers was killed at the race. -- Chuck

    Chuck,

I'm not sure when the Cajun Nationals ended, but the track (State Capital Dragway) is located West of Baton Rouge.
They still race there and the facility is starting to make a come back; however, they can't handle the Nitro Cars.

That is the place. They were running Nitro classes then but not at the speeds they do today. -- Chuck
