    Finally my Cobra is here

Hi all relatively new to the forum, I was lucky enough to purchase a built FFR Roadster. The car was sent to "The Traveling builder" to tie up a few loose ends and I have it here at my home. Joy turned to concern as the car would buck and stutter at anything above 3500-4000 rpm in 2,3, 4 in fact it wouldn't pull beyond 4,000rpm it's equipped with a Mass-Flo efi system. Thanks to having read it somewhere in the forum the easy fix was some aluminum flashing cut to fit around the very front of the air-cleaner to cut down the turbulence coming through the scoop. Sure enough it pulls clean in every gear. Here's a few pics:

Good looking car. You can put that aluminum on the inside to hide it. Works just as well.

Thanks Steve I took the easy way out and bought one that was built that just needed a little TLC. I've been following your build from the day I joined the forum

I opened the post and immediately thought "why does he have that on the filter?" Now I know.

I am going to have to ask about the sock on the breather.

LOL, yeah well the damn breather spits some stuff out on occasion when Im on it and it dirties the valve cover so the sock stops that until I figure out a more elegant solution
