    Forte's Hydraulic Clutch Setup Question

I also received Forte's Hydraulic clutch setup with my Throttle Linkage. As you all know, there aren't any instructions. Here are the two pieces that I received.

I have read a few threads around the Forte hydraulic piece being setup by the trans, but I haven't seen these Wilwood master cylinder pieces being used anywhere with the big reservoirs.

Can anyone give me a little guidance on how this meshes with the master cylinders that install from the FFR instructions right after installing the pedal box?

    Thanks!!

cv2065, I assume you have the Wilwood pedal box? I have Fortes hyd clutch also. You won't use the white plastic reservoirs with the Wilwood clutch m/c, you should have gotten the fittings needed in the box with the m/c. The fitting on top gets the black plastic piece like on your brake m/c's, there is also a black fitting with the kit that goes in the end of the m/c and then the stainless braided hose attaches there and is routed to the hyd clutch.

That's correct. I have the Wilwood pedal box. So in this Wilwood Combo Master Cylinder kit I have a master cylinder and a black cap (like you have in the picture). Not sure I have a black fitting that goes into the end of the MC? Might need to buy that separately.

When it comes to the clutch pedal, I don't install the quadrant assembly and keep as FFR sent it correct? Then that connects on to the MC that is in this master cylinder kit...

Correct. Look around for the black fitting, do you have the braided stainless hose? It's been about a year since I did my clutch and my memory isn't what it used to be and I don't remember what box the hose was in. If you don't have the fitting I'd call Mike for another.

Thanks JR. That helped out a lot! I have the SS hose, and I’ll look for the fitting.

I had a fitting missing from Mike that he sent me. Mine was very straight forward to install, but I also bought my pedal box from him so I wasn’t confused with any of the FFR parts.
I’ve driven cable and hydraulic and so glad I put it in mine.
