Rear Wheel Clearance
Any ways to gain more clearance with the rear tires?
My drivers side rear wheel is rubbing against the fender when driving. The fender lip is shaved down but its still grinding on the tire. When the car is parked i have hardly any clearance now. Passenger side doesn't seem to be rubbing.
I believe the shocks are extended as far as possible.
I have an IRS with 315/30r18.
Thought about just buying smaller tires......

My friend Donnie has the 18" F-5 wheels and the IRS set up and we had to adjust the shock up to get a little more clearance.
Could the ride height be the culprit?

That's a very normal size rear tire for the Roadster and should run with no issues. You're running the wheels that came with the 25th Anniversary kit? I believe they have the same offset as the normal 18 inch Halibrand style wheels.
I assume you have the alignment set? Proper camber makes a difference.
What about ride height? What do you have it set at? I have mine at 4.0 inches front, 4.5 inches rear. 20th Anniversary Roadster with the same size tires and same IRS. Doesn't rub the body. That's in the range that most use.
You say "shocks are extended as far as possible." Not sure what that means. The coilover adjustment on the shocks can be tightened to raise the ride height. There's way more adjustment than is normally necessary. It can be raised much more than the usual 4.5 or so inches.
