Help ! 1990 T-bird 8.8 IRS oil seals? Part number?
I've been trying to get axle oil seals for the 28-spline IRS pumpkin for the left and right side. Every part store, including Ford, order in seals which are way too big. (31-spline?)
Anyone have the part numbers from any source ?
I have a 8.8 pumpkin with casting code that looks like RF.E95H-DA rev E
tag codes is 3L27 (327 ratio traction-lock) 8.8
model S511B
build date: 0C17 - 1990 March 17 (St Patricks day which may explain it all ;-) )

Photo below shows what was in the box of parts that came with my rebuild kit. M-4413-A includes the bearings and the seals; about $30 from Summit (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-4413-a)
Sorry but I can't find the part number on just the seal alone.

Look for a part number on the seal!
If the seal is out, go to a bearing supply company with it and they can find one for you!
