EarthX Batteries
I'm an authorized dealer for EarthX batteries. These are very lightweight Lithium batteries used primarily in the experimental aircraft industry. They have lots of extra features that make them ideal for aircraft, but also make them great for race cars. I use the ETX 900 in my 818R. For V8 powered cars with more powerful alternators the ETX 1200 is the correct battery. They cost more than a standard AGM battery like a PC 680 but my experience with several PC 680 style batteries has been that they don't last very long. That makes the total cost of ownership the same for an EarthX battery which only weighs 4.9 lbs! if you're interested there is a lot more info on the EarthX website or PM me here. I can offer Factory Five Forum members a discount off the MAP pricing but you have to PM me.

Only 5 lbs! Perfect. Now I can forget about loosing that extra 10 lbs I have been telling myself I was going to lose for years.
On a more serious note, seems like a good idea. I am kind of surprised there are not more options out there like this. Battery tech has come a long way and is getting cheaper and cheaper.

Will you be selling the charger too?

I went with this Antigravity Battery. Has plenty off power and super lite. Had to buy special charger to maintain it but can't argue with the results.

Yes, I sell all the accessories too. I use the Optimate 5 amp with the remote extension on my 818R. The connection is permanently on the battery, then you can just plug/unplug the charger/maintainer. Although EarthX batteries hold their charge for very long periods if there's no ecu or other drain on them. So it's not really needed if you flip the disconnect switch.
