    Question weather strip identification

Gone through the supplied weather stripping tring to match up where each belong. None of the lengths match what was on the parts lists? Pictures attached to help identify.aug 2018 011.JPGaug 2018 013.JPGaug 2018 015.JPGaug 2018 017.JPGaug 2018 018.JPGaug 2018 019.JPGaug 2018 020.JPGaug 2018 022.JPG.
#1 must be for the side window seal on the hardtop, but the flange on the hardtop will have to be sanded down thinner for the weather strip to clip on? And cut to length?
#6 has to be to seal the hard top to the body

    HI

I understand your frustration on the types of weather stripping. I have the same problem and no one chimed in on my question either. I am looking for the weather stripping that is put on the edge of the fuel tank side covers on pg 427 my manual as well as other stripping pieces.

I do not know how to get an answer, I tried the Factory Five tech section and I even wrote directly to FF and got no answer. If you have figured this out let me know.

    Thanks TomH33

Given the shapes, I'd guess either #2 or #4 for the fuel tank side cover bits you're referring to on pg 427 Tom.

1 is side of pwr window track.
    2 is trunk seal
3 and 7 look like top of trunk side panels and hinge covers to body
4 1s the half moon for side door seals and gasket between hard top and body
5 is to hold windows in window riser for pwr windows
6 is seal around hard top window opening each side
8 I think goes on top of the little corner covers (alum) near outside seat belt brackets.

    Good luck.

not all well fit as advertised and and will need to be cut, some i needed to thin the flange to get on and other's i used not as plans. Just play with them to get the best fit.

Your list had me scratching my head for a minute or two (and i assuming some others as well). Then I realized you labeled them by picture number, not the numbers on the pictures.

By description by number label on picture:
7 is side of pwr window track.
    8 is trunk seal
4 and 2 look like top of trunk side panels and hinge covers to body
6 1s the half moon for side door seals and gasket between hard top and body

3 I think goes on top of the little corner covers (alum) near outside seat belt brackets.
