    Brake cables ?

I have the 11.65 rear brakes that came with the kit and I just received the parking brake cables from backorder and unless I'm crazy these do not fit properly... the end that goes into the caliper is not long enough to put the snap ring on and the end of goes into the frame has too much of a gap between the spring clip and the bracket.. anyone else run into this situation ?

It's possible you got the wrong cables.
Mine doesn't use a snap ring at the caliper.
The part that clips into the frame does have a little play in it.
Here's a pic of my cable connected to the caliper.

And I'm not so worried about the end where goes to the frame I can put a washer behind that to take up the space but looking at yours the eyelet that the cable goes through on your caliper seems to be a lot thinner than the one on mine. I would have to grind off almost a 16th of an inch of the eyelet on my caliper in order to get the e clip on properly. Guess I will have to call factory five in the morning.

Please let me know what FF says. I didn't get e clips and don't see any mention of them in the manual or in the on-line instructions.
    My eyelets are 0.34" thick.

Just spoke to Tony @ FF He says no e clips are needed, cables just "float" in the calipers and once all hooked up don't move. Makes sense I guess....

    Now onto the next issue....

I bought the ffr IRS without the brake option and purchased the rotors and calipers myself. Where do I get the e brake cables? Are they fmc or ffr?
