    I shorted my steering!

    HI
I have a question on the Unisteer power steering. I was putting in my floor panels in when I accidentally cut through the insulation on the 2 main wires to the battery and the steering. I rerouted and replaced the wires I shorted out. Now no power steering LED light. I obviously caused damage but I am not sure where to look to fix this.

Is there a fuse in the controller or did I burn this up? Any ideas where to start. What ever damage I did I need to fix.

I did go kart the 33 and other than the steering the car is ready for body. Any thoughts on fixing this would be appreciated.

Are you sure the 12 volt feed to the unisteer box is present, or maybe the fuse that supplies power to the box is blown?
I did take the cover off mine many months ago to see what was inside, think I saw a fuse inside but I'm not 100% certain.
