    Moot K772 Boot Fitment

For those that are using the Moog K772 ball joints, does this upper ball joint boot look correct on initial assembly and will flatten out over the ball joint when weight is on the suspension? The way the boot is constructed, doesn’t look like you can fit the boot over the ball joint...just kind of rests on there or am I missing something? Instructions are not very good. I know the bottom ball joint boots are secured to the joint.

Pretty normal to me. There are slight variations but once that BJ is tight to the spindle the boot will be squeezed in between bottom of BJ threaded sleeve and top of spindle. I would expect it would fit around the outside of the sleeve but it works fine squeezed.

Thanks Craig. Interestingly enough, I was looking at the build manual, and it 'looks' like they are using the same Moog upper ball joint. The boot looks just like what I have.
