MK4 3 link with standard shocks set up question

    Hi Guys,
I am about to do a first alignment on my MK4 this weekend. I have the 3 link rear end with standard FFR shocks and springs.
What have you set your spring collars at for a beginning set up? How many inches from where the black sleeve starts and the spring collar is set?
    Running a Coyote 5.0 and TKO600

is there any adjustment to the rear axel to avoid "crabbing" or dog walking to one side?
My car has the aluminum non adjustable lower control arm-

    Thanks
    Martin

Every setup will be different. Just set the ride height to the recommended settings.

Remember that it will settle. You could start a little high. Either way, you will need to re-check after some driving.

The dimension you asked for would be used to make sure the left and right are the same. I usually refer to it as 'number of exposed threads' above or below the collar (depending which shocks so depending which way they are mounted). Measure from the floor to the underside of the 4 inch main frame tube at the rear end of that tube. Somewhere in the 4.25-4.75 inch range is a common ride height. BTW front height is done the same way. Common front height is 4-4.5 inch.
