Trying to help a friend find a 3800 series 2 engine / trans from a Pontiac or Camaro. Does anyone know if there is a salvage business much like the guys in GA who specialize in salvage mustangs? Hope this question doesn’t offend!

I'd suggest two things:

• Change the title to something explicit like "OT: Looking for 3800 series 2 engine" and

You can try LKQ automotive. That's where I got my engine and trans combination.
