    Garage door and a lift

So guys, if you have been wanting a lift but know the garage door would be in the way. These have got to be the coolest garage doors I have seen. Perfect way to keep the door out of the way with a lift.

this one looks about the same but with a wood front.

Clearance that is gained at the ceiling is outweighed by storage lost along the walls. I would also bet that the seal at the bottom of the door is not as good as a roll-up.

You might be right about the seal. Having a seal that drags along the ground will be a fast way to wear it out.

As for the storage... I don't know... If the door skims along a wall it may only take about 3 or 4 inches. You could always put shelves in front of the door panels.
