    Big Block Chevy in Roadster

    Two years ago I purchased a 73 Corvette with a 454 to build a body off resto/mod.
I've collected most of the parts to complete the build and recently decided to sell the Corvette and build another Factory Five.
My question is that I've been building a 496 Big Block Chevy motor for the Corvette that I do not want to sell as I would loose big $$$$'s.
I would like to put it into a Factory Five build and was wondering if anyone has built a Roadster around a Big Block Chevy motor.
According to Factory Five the Roadster will accept a 428FE motor which seems to be close to the same size specs as the Chevy Big Block.
    Thanks, Greg

    Welcome Fellow Dark-Sider, Welcome!

My S.B.C. fits under the hood plus has room to spare so I say go for it.

The BBC looks to be a tight fit, but no worse than a coyote. The LS1 in mine fit very well. I had enough room to mount a full size battery in front of the engine. I say go for it.

    You can make it happen.

Just remember the down the road consequences are the same as if you put a Coyote in the Corvette.
