Mk4 #9165, Base Kit with lots of options, Delivery on 08/17/2017, Coyote, TKO600, 2015 IRS, 18" Halibrands, 12.99" Wilwoods
Moroso
20th Anniversary Mk IV, A50XS Coyote, TKO 600, Trunk Drop Box, Trunk Battery Box, Cubby Hole, Seat Heaters, Radiator hanger and shroud.
Have the Moroso. Works fine. But this is way better; way more expensive, too. The bypass circuit is a nice feature, as is the remote mounted switch to activate the unit.

I've used the Ron Francis MS-1 master disconnect several times. Rated for 200 amps, seems well built, and is reasonably priced. I like the boots they provide for the connections too.

This is subjective as there are no “bad” cutoffs. They just have different features. Some have a remote cutoff, some have a removable key, some are just on and off. Heck some attach between the battery and the cable. Personally I installed a Hella one with a key. I call it a extra theft detergent. Your only main concerns should be amperage rating and making sure you get insulating boots for the cable lugs. Allstar Performance makes a nice set you can get through summit racing for cheep.

Mk4, Moser M88 rear end, Eaton truetrak, Craft Racing 461 Windsor, MMR pro trans, Glenn’s 1,000 hp cobra fuel system and lots of other parts.
I use a basic one, from Breeze I think, with the removable key. Buried it on the horseshoe aluminum under the dash, and with the key out, you can’t really see it in the black carpet. If I leave the car somewhere, I remove the key and lock the hood so you can’t get to the back side to by pass, so sort of an additional anti theft step. I just turn it off while in the garage and it’s on the trickle charger.

Found the one I used

FFR #7388 - Mk 4 Complete Kit w/ IRS, Ordered 10/21/10, Delivered 12/8/10. 302 with FiTech and Under Car Exhaust, Heat & A/C, Rod Top. Hard top and shop built side curtains added 2023.
I purchased a Keyed Switch from West Marine made by Sierra.
While I found a bunch of "Look-A-Like" switches at several local auto parts stores none had the amperage rating of the Sierra piece.
Continuous Rating: 350 Amp, Intermittent Rating: 500 Amp. 12, 24 & 36 volt systems
I've got it mounted in the footwell on the passenger side of the car so that the key can be easily removed, along with my steering wheel.
Hopefully, this might be a good option for you but if it isn't then I know you will get a host of great suggestions here on the forum.

I had a battery switch for maybe 7 yrs. Used it maybe 5 times. I moved the battery to the front 5 yrs ago and basically didn't feel like bothering w/ a switch. I haven't missed it once.
FFR MkII, 408W, Tremec TKO 500, 2015 IRS, DA QA1s, Forte front bar, APE hardtop.
