Where can I find how to do the initial alignment on my IRS?
Thought I'd bump this thread as I was just searching for this topic - initial alignment of the IRS.
So as was pointed out, page 104 has the suggested alignment spec. That's great when you get to an alignment shop or attempt the full blown at home approach. However, what I thought I would see is some lengths measurements on the arms as a starter point. Essentially, the rear equivalent of what the manual gives for the front suspension on page 31. Has anyone seen something similar?
Thanks, Steve
I'm building a Roadster with the IRS, so I don't know if anything will translate, but I made a "SWAG" (Scientific Wild Azz Guess) and threaded the various couplers to the middle of the travel and finger tightened the locknuts.
A few weekends ago #9365 became a roller, and sitting on the ground it's a little wonky, but not too bad. (Didn't take a pic from the back...)

Use a level for up and down and string for the front and back. Works for a lot of people, close for some driving.
