Everywhere I read tells me to apply grease to the outside of the metal bushings that go through the poly bushings and have the mounting bolt go through them. Then, stuff 'em into the poly and hang the arms torquing to spec. That makes me assume that the poly's rotate on the external surface where the grease is. Sooooo, why do we have a zerk fitting on the arm when there is a center thick bushing that is sandwiched by the side polys? How does that grease get from the zerk to the sleeve if the hole is blocked? Would it make sense to drill a hole through the center bushing via the zerk fitting hole so grease gets all the way to the sleeve? Lastly, when installed, is the idea that the sleeves are stationary and do not rotate on the bolt? Ok, last question, I remember grooving my front bushings to allow grease to squeeze between the mounting tab and the bushing face. Is that needed on the rear arms as well?

Thanks for helping me out..
