    2019 GTM Calendars

    Hi all

Its that time of year again. Actually, I'm running a bit behind, to be honest. New city, new job, new schedule.

Anyways, I'm now looking for photos for the annual FFR GTM calendar.

If you would like your car to be immortalized in the calendar, please drop me an email at my new email address, [email protected]

All photos should be hi-res, at least 3000 pixels across, more if possible. I'd like a few angles, and a close up of your engine bay and/or interior so I can get creative. If you can, zipped photos are much easier to get through the email system.

When you send your photos, also include the following information in the email:
    your name
your car's chassis number (eg Roadster number 5344, or GTM number 473)
    your engine/tranny combo
horsepower, torque, and whatever other information you are proud of

also, if you have a favourite automotive quote, please include that. If you don't have a favourite quote, I can send you a list to choose from.

I look forward to once again getting a bunch of cool pics!

Well, if you want a picture of a 20% finished GTM sitting in my garage, I can help you out! Otherwise....

    Actually, yes I do.
I've had at least one, if not two "under construction" GTMs in every calendar.

A pic of you sitting in a bare frame, reading a build manual with a really confused look on your face and a bottle of whiskey in your hand...that could work!

    Got 4 cobras, 2 coupes, 2 33s, and 3 818s submitted so far,

    BUT NOT A SINGLE GTM!!!!

    REALLY?
This is where it all started... I'd hate to miss the GTM calendar for lack of interest!

2 Unfinished and one finished GTM submitted so far.

Sitting at 13 Cobras and 4-5 of all the other models... Coupe/33/818

Why are the GTMs so slow in coming out this year?

Why are the GTMs so slow in coming out this year?

Well it could be a combination of things. But my guess/opinion would be:

Factory Five being a small manufacturing company has to divert focus to the newer/other models that catch more people's attention, that leaves less resources available for the GTM

The body Quality Control is not what it should be, which leads to the constant negative complaints.

The build itself overwhelms builders skill sets. Everyone wants the GTM to stand up against the high dollar Super Cars, which lead to higher that expected expense

Mention/talk of a completely new and different GTM, which might use the Type 65 new chassis. Maybe future builders are waiting for that.

That's just some crazy ideas I offer, others may have different opinions. I hope the GTM will survive, for me it's a very unique Super Car that with time and patience it can be an awesome ride.

    YMMV

    Taz,

My supermodel GTM want another shot at the lights.

    I’ll send some pictures later.

Always happy to include Pandora, my man!

And I thought about some of your reasons listed above, as well. But there are still a LOT of nice GTMs out there that are completed. We had a few in last year's calendar that I hadn't seen before. I wouldn't mind seeing some of them again... just sayin'.

I can definitely send some in progress shots of my build if you like

In response to your earlier post, I hope the GTM stays, although I am curious about what the news at SEMA is going to turn out to be this week. Either way, I love my car and there is no way in hell I'm loosing interest. Its a challenge and for me, that one aspect of my enjoyment in this build.

Sorry, I'll have to pass this year as nothing has been done on the car.

You are welcome to re-use some previous images, or I can send some older photos that can
    be edited/cropped for a page?

P.S. Thanks for taking the lead on this again!
