    Measurements for side badges and cobra emblems for front and back.

    Does anyone have the measurements for the badges for the the cobra?

    Found this diagram a while back and have used it for my builds. I would call it a guideline only. Use your eyes to decide what looks best. Some parts already have double back tape. If the parts have pins, I cut them off and use 3M emblem tape. I don't drill holes in the body.

    I did the same as edwardb, used 3M mounting tape. Side badges are still on my desk. 4 years later and I still have the 427 badge when I have a 347.

    Those diagrams may be from ERA. A lot of people use their stripe and badge measurements. http://www.erareplicas.com/freeman/427.pdf (page 132)


    Don't get too caught up in "correct" placement. When you see originals, the badges are all over the place. I have seen one where the side badges are between the vent and the door. I would imagine the old man would say the same thing that he said when someone asked him what the correct number of rivets were on the hood scoop...…….."It depends on how drunk we got the night before."
