    Spacer differences

The lower shock mount spacers seem to be installed in different places between the drivers side and passenger side according to my manual.

Pages 75-78 the pictures and instructions show that the passenger side has the spacers towards the front of the car and the drivers side towards
    the rear.

This seems odd to me is this right.

Ps thanks for the help about the coil overs not assembling correctly. Using my vernier the springs were 5 thou small in diameter than the center of the bottom mount at the hat. I fixed by using my lathe to skim the fittings 5 thou then everything worked Ok. Not sure whether the spring was undersize or the fittings over.

No reason for them to be different. I'd make them symmetric side-to-side. Just one of many quirks you'll come across in the manual.
