'35 Pro Street Truck mission complete!

So the Truck build is finally done and the mission to build it for SEMA 2018 has been met.

It was a pretty long road literally...

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was required to trailer my truck to SEMA from Alabama OR not take it and attend without the truck. After all that work my wife was like "Bye!" you need to leave a few days earlier!!

Thankfully Wayne Presley to the rescue - he offered the use of his trailer and then helped me acquire a few things for my now dedicated tow vehicle... needed to get some proper mirrors and air bags for the rig.

Anyway got that all done and headed out .. I made it out there basically in 3 days and made it back in 2.... the F150 ecoboost work pretty well for having over 100k on the clock.

The show itself went really good... Factory Five normally has 1 booth... this year they had 3!

The Gen 3 Coupe was being built LIVE! at the show.... Ron Everitt had a running driving car and we proceeded to take it all apart down to the bare chassis in 4 hours! They spent the next 3 days putting it together at the show and then Dave Smith did a drifting and burnout show for the event... pretty cool to say the least ... the logistics to make this happen was incredible! They guys did a great job!

The inside booth had the trucks and the new hotrod ... very cool to say the least.

The Pro Street was outside in the sun all week... the paint really popped... there were 2 trucks in the outside booth .. The Black Label Twin Turbo truck and mine... funny the entire outside display was actually ALL CUSTOMER CARS! and with the folks from Motts College - we worked the booth all week fielding questions and handing out literature.

Anyway.. more pictures will leak out this week I am sure - as for my part ... I can say the Truck was there! and my hats off to our Factory Five Hosts... those guys are awesome!!!!

INSANE POOL Guys came by to check out the truck

Joey and his Dad loved the truck...

    I made it!

The truck looks awesome and it's always good to see you Erik! Too bad we didn't get to spend a whole lot of time together since we were working on opposite corners. BTW, Ron says you're a REALLY sound sleeper

Eric, I see from your completed build that you mounted the headlights to the grill panel, verses the fender mount shown in the Beta Manual. What would be your comments and decision process? To me the grill tab mounting looks a lot stronger than putting on the fender.

Thanks for you help in side panel fitting. I assumed from you pictures responding to my post that you were going fender-less, but I was mistaken.

It was a matter of personal preference to me.. I actually had them mounted to fenders initially ... took me a few times to get them exactly mirrored...I then tried it mounted to the nose... and decided to leave it that way..

also since the Factory Five truck had them mounted on the fenders ... I wanted mine to be different.

Eric, fantastic looking build. Clearly the mods are way above my pay grade.
