Polyurethane Bushings in Moser 8.8
Trying to install Polyurethane Bushing in my new Moser 8.8 rear. I actually removed the complete assembly with outer metal sleeve. I used a Generic Puller Kit I
was loaned from Parts Store (Autozone). The tool did not work for the install, so I froze the sleeve in dry ice and heated the housing. Got it in, but was REALLY tight
on passenger side. Then, I finally got the driver side steel sleeve in, but no room to fit new Polyurethane Inner Bushing. Suggestion?? I think I will order the Special Ford Bushing Removable Tool.

You really don't want to use urethane bushings there. It only makes the roll bind it inherently has much worse.

Did not know that. I was installing an aftermarket 4-Link Adjustable Linkage, and the bolt hole diameter was too small for the bolt to pass through Moser bushing. Bought the Polyurethane Bushing at Summit, and was correct diameter for the supplied bolt.
Moser Bolt Diameter> 0.465" and Bushing i.d. +- 0.485"
My 4-Link Bolt Diameter 0.495" and Prothane Bushing i.d. +- 0.505
I guess my question is>>> Is Moser supplying correct Bushing??? What size is the Standard Mustang Bushing/Bolt??

You can use a standard mustang upper bushing and use a stock stamped steel upper arms and your ride quality will go up a ton.
The nickname for the Mustang 4 link rear suspension is the quadrabind. There are 4 arms going in 4 different directions. The reason Ford used stamped steel arms was to be compliant. They are more torque tubes than control arms. They would twist through a corner allowing the body to roll. When you take that compliance out the ride gets stiff and going around a corner can be a little unnerving.
