    SpeedHut Gauges - Another Question

One thing I noticed on the bench burn test session... Every gauge does a "wake up" sweep when energized except the Oil Pressure & Water Temp.

Is this normal, or do I have 2 defective gauges?

My oil pressure and water temp don't sweep when powered on. My fuel level and volts do.

I've got a regulated output variable DC power supply on my "tinker" bench in the house... I just connected the dash up to it temporarily, and discovered my voltage inverter was DOA.

You could use a small 12v gel-cell battery (steal it out of the kids PowerWheels or a fish-finder). Just be sure to put a fuse on the + output (5A max)!

Just my fuel & volts do the pre-start sweep. The water & oil temp + PSI do not.
