Headlight harness wiring question.
I have been laying out the wiring harness components. One that concerns me is the headlight harness that is shown in the manual as running out the upper half of tranny tunnel on driver's side and then along the block, over the motor mount and then up to the front of the chassis. Questionable area is you have to run very close to shorty header, as there is not much space at firewall to back of block. I am certain this location would melt the wire casing and maybe the wires themselves. I guess you could insulate wire or metal shield, but does this make sense?
Other option would be along top of motor between head and intake manifold toward front and then drop down to chassis and continue on.

How I ran mine.
Straight out of the transmission tunnel across the manifold.
Just long enough to run the wiring across the front bar right behind the radiator.
