Where to find FF serial number

Hey guy have owned a few FF cars over the years and never gotten into the details of Mark 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and so on. The current car I have has an IRS so I am assuming its a 2 or 3 correct?
The car has a state assigned vin plate but was wondering if FF stamped the frame rails with a serial number to better determine the model.
    Thanks Nathan

In the cockpit, left of the column, on the 2x2.

Mark IV also has IRS as an option.

I know on the older models FFR bead welded a number inside the 2x2 frame rail behind the cockpit, on the drivers side.

I'm not getting gray, I'm adding chrome....

Stamped into the 2x2. They also leave it as bare metal (no powdercoat)

On a MK 1 and 2, there is a frame number welded into the 2 x 3 cross member above the rear axle. It is a FRAME number, not a kit number, since the ffr kits started at 1001, and the frame numbers started at 0001. Example: My FFR 3319 has a frame number of 2221.

The ffr kit number stamped into the 2 x 2 cross member above the drivers left knee started on MK3 kits, and I think it is still continued today.
