    Fuel pump controller

I am running a custom front-mounted Boyd’s tank with a Bosch 044 external fuel pump. My donor was a 2003 WRX and my engine will be a IAG 2.5 hybrid with 380-400 crank hp. I was wondering if both the stock fpr and fuel pump controller will suffice for this setup or should I go with an aftermarket fpr and maybe the DCCD Pro controller?

That's probably a good idea. The Bosch 044 draws 13 amps at 12V, which is nearly double what the stock pump draws. Needless to say, the stock controller was not designed for that. The stock fpr is also not going to do a great job at maintaining consistent pressure. I'm also running the Boyd tank with the 340 pump it came with recently bought an Aeromotive FPR and DCCD Pro.

Thanks, that's what I was leaning toward. Probably will do good things toward quieting down that 044 at idle, too.
