    Tires

Thinking about the Nitto NT 555 G2...$168 each. I do mostly highway, the Coupe is my daily driver. Anyone have experience with these? Running some Goodyear Eagles now and they are a bit too slick

I've had three sets the 555's that the 555 G2's replaced on my former daily driver and they worked great.

When the temps were above 65 degrees they stuck very well and were rather predictable, but that car only made 300-310 HP and produced 330-340 foot-pounds of torque.
I've got the same 555's on my Dark Side MK-4 and they spin, spin and spin some more, but this engine produces someplace around 450 HP with similar torque numbers, maybe more.
Many folks do better with the 555-R's (Drag Radial) out back so I'd suggest the G2's up front and the 555-R out back or maybe the NT01's on all 4 corners if you aren't worried about the rain.

Please understand that while I really like the Nitto 555 Series, they can be easily overpowered in a super lightweight Factory Five.

Hope This Helps & Good Luck!

Im running the 555r on mine. Im looking for a little bit better tire life. I heard the 555G2 has a higher tire wear number.
I also heard they are compatable, G2 s in front , R s in back.
    Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks guys good info...its a daily driver so I need good wet traction too. If I can get 10K out of them and have some good stick I'm happy.
