    Shiny Bits

I met a guy at a local Cars and Coffee who just took delivery of this new Cobra replica. Not a FFR, but a one off, built buy a guy in AZ. It has a 427 Chevy, a nice glass body and he told me a fully polished, stainless steel, hand made frame.

He later sent me this photo. Thought I'd share for all of those who love to polish and shine.

Wow, that's crazy! And probably pretty heavy. That flat nose forward of the hood looks like a Street Beast. Some meticulous craftsmanship there.

Holy Snikeys! My car is up in the air and Mr. Anal is going to town detailing the undercarriage...I’d go crazy trying to spit shine that! Nice work and as Jeff said - heavy.

I thought that was a buggy spring front suspension, but I guess not.

I respect the craftsmanship, though it's not for me. If I was going to spend that kind of time and money making things shiny, I'd much rather have a polished aluminum body, like this:

As with others, I appreciate the workmanship and it is pretty. But, heavier, weaker, more expensive, and less usable. I don't get it.

It’s a beautiful look but I prefer to spend my time driving instead of trying to shine the chrome I guess if you have enough money you could pay someone to keep it clean
