    Window openings on the top

Do the window openings on the hard top need to have the lip cut down to 3/4" like the trunk opening? I don't see anything in the Manual about that.

The quick answer is, they dont, however, since they are glue in and not fitted with a rubber slip on/in gasket, I ended up making it even all around such that it looks better even though there is a black barrier all around the window. I did the same on the front as well.

They don't necessarily, but I think it looks better. Mainly, I did cut mine down to 3/4" so that it increased available area to see out of. And you would be surprised how much difference that made when I did all 4 of them. Tons more light gets in and area to see out.
