    GTM build

I have been fascinated with the GTM and the idea of Factory 5 since I stumbled upon the company over a year ago. Presently restoring a 1968 Corvette 427 with my older son, but would love to build a GTM someday. Looking to find one near me to see in person or go on a test drive to see if I want to take the leap. I live in southwestern Indiana. Willing to travel to get to a quality build. Please be in contact if you can help. Thanks! Bill.

Having built a GTM myself, my advice would be to wait for the GTF.

There was A LOT of quality issues with the GTM that judging from the forums on the other FFR products, seem to be somewhat limited to the GTM. All indications point to FFR having learnt from their mistakes with the GTM and proactively sorting these issues with the GTF. So i would wait for the GTF to see what that product will be like and i would probably go with that instead if i were doing this all over again.

The only way i would recommend the GTM is if FFR release a Gen 3 of the GTM along side the GTF. Then it would be safe to assume the GTM would be a more satisfactory build experience over the current Gen 2, certainly the Gen 1..

Sorry for my ignorance, but I’m not familiar with the GTF.

The GTF is Factory Five's successor to the GTM

I just saw the story on the FFR website. It looks good, but I still love the mid-engine/transaxle design!

I'm up in NE Indiana, but my car has been changed quite a bit...
Your best bet in this area is the London, OH Cobra show in June, usually a GTM or 2 there...
