Upper control arm ball joint nut

    Good morning all.
First post ever. I have a question about the castle nut slots not fitting with the hole in the ball joint. Nut travels too far up to reach the slots with the cotter key. what do most builders do for a fix? Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Put a hardened washer or spacer thick enough to get the nut down to where the slots match up with the hole. Similar to what the manual shows for the lower ball joint, just shouldn't need anything that thick.
