Gen 3 289 AC/Heating kit from Factory five

Hi Everyone. Hoping someone out there is building a 289 like i am with their Gen 3 Coupe.

I am looking to order the AC/heater kit from Factory 5 for 1700 plus. Problem is that their Air compressor comes with serpentine pulley and i need a V belt.

Has anyone ordered this kit for a 289/302? can you show some pics for the compressor?

Ive contacted FFR for details on their kit. Waiting.

I can't help you with your specific question about the compressor, belt drive, etc., since mine was a Coyote installation. Maybe you know this already or have reviewed it, but the Factory Five instructions for this kit are very thorough and give a lot of details about the kit, installation steps, etc. Good study if you haven't seen it. https://www.factoryfive.com/wp-conte...OUPE-Gen-3.pdf.

The kit comes with a Sanden compressor and mounts to locate it on the left side of the engine. The compressor is set up for a serpentine belt. I have power steering with the pump located high on the left so... I got a March bracket set that locates the AC compressor under the alternator on the right side. If you are set on using a "V" belt maybe just a pulley change on the compressor? and if you don't have power steering the FFR mounts will work. I still like the compressor mid mount on the right so there are no hoses going over the top of the engine, Just think it looks cleaner.
