New Guy from St Louis
I heard from Stewart that my Type 65 kit should be arriving next week!
The build highlights are:
- Complete 65 kit
- Gen 2 Coyote engine
- T56 transmission
- IRS
- Power Steering
- AC
- Wilwood upgrades
- Halibrand 18" wheels
- Color is TBD
I attended the build school in September and it was a great experience. The local Cobra club stopped by on Saturday for lunch. We had the opportunity to see a lot of amazing builds and talk to the owners.
I appreciate all of the great build threads available on this forum. It really helps this first time builder who will have questions along the journey.

Welcome to the group.
Where in St. Louis are you? I'm in Manchester.

Bob,
I live between Manchester and Des Peres in unincorporated St Louis county. I cut through Manchester on a frequent basis to get to Fritz's Frozen Custard, ice cream is a weakness of mine.

Vspeeds,
Thanks for the welcome. I couldn't agree more about this forum, I've been following it for the last 2 years before ordering my own kit. The detailed builds and willingness to help out other builders with their questions was another selling point for buying a FFR kit IMO.

Thanks CVOBill! I couldn't be more stoked in anticipation of that Stewart truck coming up my street. Snow in the forecast so it may get delayed.
