    Body Trimming, Side Sails

Quick question about body trimming... on the coupe, I have the side sails clamped in place, starting at 5/8" from the front frame. when I push the panel up so it is snug with the bottom of the frame, there is body sitting proud of the frame where the cockpit entrance is (the v portion of the body where the aluminum trim plate goes)... should I be trimming this down, or forcing it down and clamping in place where no trimming is required?

If need be I can grab some photos later tonight.

I'd trim the top. How much is it protruding? Also, with the bottom of the sail pressed against the floor, check that the rear of the sail is resting on its bracket.

I would try to get the side as low as possible. I had a problem with not being able to get my doors as low as they need to be and they interfered with the top as the rear. I then had to be modify the top at the rear of the door.
