The build manual makes a comment that it’s important to note the seat belts are specific to each side...both belts appear the same to me and the boxes have identical serial numbers? Any opinions?

I think they mean each individual belt. If you mount the shoulder harnesses wrong, you cannot latch them all together.

There are two different shoulder belts. there is a left and right for each seat. Look at the bottom connectors... When you put them together you want them to face each other and then go onto the lap belt. Think about putting your hands together out in front of you... palms together is the right way, putting your hands together with the back of your hands together would be the wrong way... The lap belts can go either way to your liking.
