MK4 #7923 is up for sale. This is a donor build, but definitely doesn't look the part. Unfortunately my engine choice will probably hurt me, but it could be swapped out for something else. The car runs, and moves, but we haven't go karted it yet. With a partially built car the new owner would be able to make any changes without having to remove the body, etc. A great opportunity for someone to get a head start on a build with most of the work done. Body is untouched, in the condition it was delivered in.

Don't sell the "Donor" short. My car used a Mach 1 donor and it's a really nice engine. Putting out 340hp/370ft.lbs. not to mention all the other goodies (power breaks, power steering, big breaks). That's a great price for your car.
You've Come So Very Far To Let This Dream Slip Away!
If I get a vote, which I don't, I'd send it to Mike Everson or one of the other Master Builders to be completed.
You work look excellent so far and you are likely 85-90% complete so the fun is about to begin sooner than later.
Life got in the way of my build, which started four years ago today, but I'm back swinging wrenches and test driving the car.
Good Luck & Don't Give Up Because You Are Closer Than You Think!
Thanks guys. There is a whole lotta back story that I won't get into. I don't "have" to sell it. I have considered sending it out. If it doesn't sell that is most likely what I'll do.
Mike

Wow the price is tempting, if I wasn't looking forward to the build so much I would save some cash and pull the trigger here. Someone is going to get a great deal.

Heck, for the money you can easily take it apart and put it back together

I'm the new owner, or did I adopt? I want to thank Mike for being patient while I got my garage cleaned out and a trailer lined up to bring it home. This is a first for me and I hope to keep the quality build that Mike started going to completion.
You will Dennis. And you'll definitely improve things as well. You were a true gentleman to work with and it was my pleasure to sell it to you. Hopefully the grandsons will have an interest as they get older.
Mike.
