    Front Splash panels

No matter how I place the drivers side elephant ear I can't get i to fit correctly even with the bulb seal on. If I was to make one what gauge aluminum are the elephant ears?

    thanks Craig

All the panels are .041 thickness. I'd love to see a couple of pictures of good fitting front splash guards.

Thanks. I read your posts from a few days ago regarding this.

The panels are 0.040 6061 aluminum, at least thats what mine were labeled with. I got the same aluminum from Metal Supermarket near me, they offer other services too. I found that making my own splash guards was very rewarding but also a pain. In the end well worth the cost, time and energy...good luck.

    Hi David,

I forgot to measure the size of the splash guard, any chance you remember what size sheet you ordered?

Sorry I don't remember what size. Measure the ones that came in the kit and make a template out of some thick poster board. I know I had to make them twice because I messed up the bend on the first ones. Good luck.
