    WTB: 700R4 shift linkage

I'm getting a motor/trans from Factory Five Blue Print Engines with a 700R4. It doesn't come with the shift linkage. I'm looking for the linkage to fit or one from a late model Camaro, Trans Am or Fire Bird.

Lokar makes a good setup for the 700r4. Also upgraded the kick down cable and throttle cable to lokar. So far have it mocked up on transmissions. Hoping to install motor and tranny after I get back from Mexico

I did a 52' Chevy pick up sometime back with SBC and 700r4 trans. I also used all the lokar cables and shifter and had no problem with any of it. Worked as advertised.

I am running a 700R4 out of an 89 Corvette and also used the Lokar shifter. It has hard linkage to it and does not use any cables.

Here is a link to the post on my build site showing how I installed it.

Thank you for all your experiences. I have been to a few junk yards and decided to ditch that idea. I looked and liked the Lokar but also a B&M from Summet. My ship date is 3/23 so I have a while to make the final decision. This looks like it's going to be a great experience.

B&M will not compare to Lokar.
