    Coyote Oil Filter question

    Hello all
Please see these photos: Will this filter come off the motor?
5.0 Gen 2 Coyote with Wix filter.
I just installed the motor into the chassis and its filled with oil
This looks very tight-I'm guessing it will just make it.

    Please let me know
    Thanks

Really easy to know, just unscrew it and find out.

You will not loose that much oil. Screw it off, see if it will clear the frame, screw back on. You can wipe off the filter while it is off.

It fits. I have the same filter. I put it on with the engine installed. You have to do it from underneath, but everything works as it should. At least in my experience. I had to include the disclaimer lest somebody else come up with a different experience

I have about the same clearance between my filter and the frame on 8317. It'll come off, but it is close.
