    Good color for a roadster?

The poll is a "private" poll, which means that nobody will know how you voted, so give me your honest opinion of this color.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally love it but choose the color that grabs you.

Not really a blue fan. But I like it as shown in the first image on the show floor and that lighting, it looks darker and much more dramatic. Then the outdoor images don't work as well for me.

Colors change with the light source. What you like under one may not fly under another. For me, the only light that matters is sunlight.

    Dave-

Spectacular color on a spectacular car! That blue would look awesome!

Now, the 63 split window has been my favorite car since I was old enough to have a favorite car...

But yeah, that blue would look great on your Roadster! But, you don't need my opinion; do what makes you happy and what you like.

But, please let us know what you choose, and post some pics when she is done.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Blue With No Stripes!
Not doing stripes lets the lines of the body and the body work shine.
Think about it, there are no seams on this car except when you bolt or rivet on the scoop.
Why mess it up with stripes or the hood scoop.

I'm with GDG. This is a beautiful blue and it would look awesome without stripes.

That's a fine looking Vette, too. '63-'67 Coupe is my favorite Vette.

I agree with the no stripes on this color or possibly a very subtle ghost stripe.

I think it's an awesome blue and would look great on your car. I like cars with and without stripes, so I think it works either way. I agree there are a lot of blue cars out there, but it seems like the blue ones really get my heart pumping when I see one. I'm leaning towards blue on mine too, just light blue.

Is this some kind of secret painter code? Can you share what "JAC" is for us not in the club?

My guess would be "just another color".

As many have already said, go with what makes you happy. I'm not a big restomod fan so I stuck with a vintage color (blue, but light blue).

That's a nice color and will probably look great.

I like blue, one of those JAC guys I guess...

Thanks to everyone for participating in the poll and for providing your feedback both for and against. I'm still undecided. I'm sure the color would look great on the car, but not sure I'd be happy with it in the long run. Trendy paint colors tend to fade in popularity with time. Jeff has assured me I'm not "abnormal", and that I have time to sort this out in my mind before he's ready to put color on the car.

Dave, I have actually seen this color in person, and I agree with what someone else mentioned about it showing as lighter outside in sunlight. It also has a bit more metallic in it than I like but that is a personal taste thing. Truthfully, the color is beautiful albeit a little candy-ish which right now seems to be the trend. One way or the other, it's hard to go wrong and your personal taste is all that matters. Regarding the stripe, I think if you chose exactly the right white, and there are millions of those, the contrast would look striking. Looks like I'm in the minority on that. Joel

That blue is beautiful. You may want to look at the blue on the new NSX. Saw one a couple weeks ago at our local cars and coffee. It was incredible. Always go with what YOU want.

My PPG guy was talking about it when it was first introduced You want to know whats REALLY INCREDIBLE? The fact that this color is a $6,000 option on the NSX
