Selling a FFR completed car outside Canada

As ever someone here done that?
It’s definitely not my intention but I’m just curious to know if that happened and if it was difficult, pitfalls, etc…
    Thanks.

I don't think you can sell it into the US. A few years ago an FFR friend moved to the States upon retirement and could not bring his completed Mk3. He tried going about it from a few different angles (even considered disassembling it and bringing it in as parts) but ultimately sold it in Canada then built a Mk4 after getting settled here to Indiana. I know when going the other way---US built car into Canada---the car has to have been continuously registered in the US for the past 15 (I think) years in order to be allowed.

I imagine every country has different regulations re importing cars. If you have an interested buyer outside if Canada, do some research on their governments requirements.
Some countries may not even recognize that they are a kit. Not all registrations in Canada show that from what I understood.
