    Exhaust System with catalytic converter

I recently purchased an AC Cobra replica from a dealer in Nevada. When I went to register it I found out that it was going to need catalytic converters installed to be registered in Texas due to the way it was originally titled. I have searched far and wide and havent been able to find any solution for my problem. To be inspected in Tx, the converters must be visible to the inspector. Surely I am not the only one with this problem. Does anyone know of any vendors that sell an exhaust system available with cats installed. The only solution I have been able to come up with is to cut up my exhaust system and install converters for the inspection and then purchase a new system to run until next year at inspection time at which time i re install the cut up system for the inspection. Seems like a real hassle to swap exhaust systems each year. I would appreciate hearing how others have met this challenge. Car is titled as a 2001 AC Cobra.

You didn't specify what engine you're running, but if it's a Coyote GP Headers makes a 4 into 4 header with built-in cats. Forte's sells them.

They may also make them (or be able to custom make them) for other engines.
MkIV Roadster build: Gen 2 Coyote, IRS, TKO600. Ordered 10/24/18. Delivered 1/29/19. Engine installed 8/8/21. First start 9/12/21. First go-kart 9/17/21. Off to paint 4/11/22. Back from paint 12/30/22. Build thread here.

    MikeB,

Is your car a Factory Five and is it running a SBF?

If so then this link may really help:

    Good Luck!

That's what I'm running on my car. Factory Five looks to be out of stock right now but I'm sure you can get them made. It's a simple solution.
Good Luck. I thought Texas would be an easy state to register your car.
