    need help to identify brakes

I need to replace rotors, pads and calipers. The fronts (red) say PBR and the rears (silver) say Ford. I took these pictures to the ford dealer and they said all numbers stamped on them are production numbers... they need part numbers. Being the 3rd owner of the car I dont know what was installed. Can anyone identify them?

They look like standard Mustang GT Brakes from 1994-2004 to me.

I'd be really shocked if they weren't.

    I hate being shocked!

    Good Luck!

Just to add to what Kleiner said. The fronts are PBR 2 Piston calipers from 1999-2004 base and GT Mustangs but here's the catch, the rotors are the same as the 1994-1998 Mustang GT. What's more is that in 2003 they changed the caliper banjo bolts to coarse thread vs the 2002 and before which are fine thread. The rear brakes look like standard 1994-1996 base and GT model brake calipers and rotors..........Confused yet?

I'm having problems finding replacement rotors and pads for the PBR calipers (front brakes). Will standard 1999-2004 GT Mustang parts fit in the PBR caliper?

Sorry dude, Haven't checked back in on this. 2 piston caliper for a 1999-2002 Mustang GT if you want fine thread on the banjo bolts, 2003-2004 Mustang GT if you want coarse threads. Same caliper just different thread pitch.

Rotors from a 1994 all the way thru 2004 Mustang GT will work for the above calipers.

Pads will be for a 1999-2004 Mustang GT.

Mustang GT calipers 1999-2004 are all PBR calipers.

    Try this.

    Rotor: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...385670&jsn=462

    Pads: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...385670&jsn=510

Keep in mind, I just picked the least expensive options for each of those. There were more than a dozen different choices for each from manufacture, material and price.

Just my opinion, but I'd have the existing rotors turned if there is enough material on them.
