Thoughts on Polishing the Spinner Knock-Offs?

I'm considering polishing the spinners that came with the FFR Halibrand wheels. Any good reason not to? I may even clear powder coat them after they are polished.

The spinners for my Halibrands are polished, but then again my wheels are chrome. I say go for it.

my wheels are in my living rm. as we speak. ffr wheels are coated so no need to polish, spinners and hubs however polish up nicely. I use mothers aluminum & mag polish.

This method is far too labor intensive for my liking, though. Time for some help in the form of a buffing wheel.
