    Trunk Heat and Rear exhaust

I have the rear exit exhaust which runs fairly close to the upper and lower floors of the trunk. I am planning on wrapping the exhaust near the floor but how much do I need to worry about heat in the trunk? I don’t think I need to go to the lengths on the trunk as I am doing on the cockpit, but I don’t want to ignore it either.

My exhaust isn't wrapped and haven't had any problems in the trunk with heat. Now the **** pit that's another story lol.

Just to be on the safe side I wrapped everything from the header collectors all the way to where the exhaust tips connect to the pipes, as well as 2 layers on the mufflers.
Easier to do it when I was building the chassis than after the car was done.

I used dyna mat on the floor of the trunk but ran the car for a year with no issues.
