Help with wheel selection
I'm going crazy trying to find wheels that will fit my truck build without spending a fortune.
I'd like front 18x8.5 (or 18x9) and rear 20x10.5.
And I have the Wilwood brakes from FFR. No fenders.
Anyone using these sizes or similar? What you got??
Thanks all,
Ron

If running fenders, you need less than fenderless. I am running fenders and Torque Thrust 17x7 front and 17x8 rear, Nitto 225/50 and 255/50 and they fill the wheel wells pretty full.

I have a 33' hot rod W/ bike fenders and am getting real close to ordering wheels and tires but am not 100% sure what too get, My choice for the moment is Torque Thrust M wheels,,,, Front like 17 x 7 or 8.... Rear 18 x 10.... Not sure exactly what back space to consider and thinking the Nitto brand tires also BUT again not sure what size to consider. Not trying to MAX out on back but want a healthy looking wheel/tire. Comments / advice welcomed... Thx

Check out my post here. I did buy a .75" hub centric wheel spacer for the fronts to clear the wilwoods.

I like the dish on those wheels, but I wanted wider. Did you have to use longer wheel studs with the spacer?

You can use a wheel from a 94 - 04 mustang. They have the right back space. I used the Fr500 wheels from replica wheels that was way less money than a set of US mags, and they have a real similar look. IMG_2112.JPG

Have you checked out Wheel Replicas?
Shown below are a couple of possible options to get your desired stagger:

I pulled the trigger and went with Riddler 695 series in grey. Was always my 1st choice, bounced all over the place and came back to them in the end. Front, 17" x 8" wide.... Rear, 18" x 9.5 wide.... But now the tire choice is becoming a dilemma. Front no problem but keeping the rear under 26" tall is,,,, an issue. Looking at Nitto and Mickey Thompson,,,, I can get close but it looks like I will be about an inch over the F5 recommendation..... Rats. If I cannot make them fit under 33' bike fenders I may have to go without fenders..

Surprised Riddler has nothing in 10.5 width

No mine are the standard brakes, but i would think the wheel would be plenty big to handle the Wilwood setup.

For our Type-65 we went with custom made wheels with an shop here in Canada - https://www.augmentwheels.com/
Not sure what your budget looks like but these came in less expensive than I thought they would be, you can design a style, have any offset or size you want. With the Canadian Peso trading so low could be a deal for you. The finished product turned out really well, very impressed.
