Yeah. Looks like that at my house, too. But, it's Colorado. It will be bright and sunny in another day or two. Almost roadster weather by the week end.

I relocated here from the Utica area. I graduated HS in Goshen, NY. Much better climate here.

Yesterday I was riding a bicycle while wearing only a t-shirt.

Nice thing about CO is that tomorrow the sun will be out, and it will be a beautiful day. In NY, this nastiness would last for at least a week, if not two.

I needed to be in Rochester many times each year for many years. Up I87... Utica, Syracus, Rochester, seemed like winter never ended.
When my sister lived in Colorado, I visited for a week. It rained, snowed, thunder storms, fog, heat with steam rising from the streets after the snow all in 6 days.
And then there were the prarie dogs...

Don't you go trash talkin' upstate NY weather! I'm in Albany, and I got to go snowboarding this past weekend. I bet you can't do that in Colorado in March. Oh wait a minute, I guess you can. Never mind.

Yes, we get to ski and snow board in March. We also get to drive the Roadster and ride the Harley. I love CO!

Sometimes we can ski or board into June! Looks like our "bomb cyclone" is making national news tonight. It's still a whiteout at my place and apparently the drifts in the neighborhood are impassable with several cars & trucks stuck and a semi blocking the main road into town. The snow is supposed to stop around 9pm tonight and the digging out will start tomorrow morning.

Hang on, Jeff. This storm is going to wreak havoc across the entire country. Looks like it could be pounding the mid-west by Friday.

It's not all fun and games, Jeff. Last I heard there were over 80 people who had to be rescued from being trapped on the roads. And that was after a 24 hour warning not to go out if it was not necessary. A lot of our roads are impassible because of abandoned vehicles.

I'll be out with my tractor tomorrow helping my neighbors dig out and then I'll have my truck out to see if I can pull the six stranded cars I know of in the neighborhood out of the drifts.

That’s nothing to worry about. I mean really I can still see your solar lights. Let me when you have to dig yourself out from your front porch/portico on, now you’re talking snow!

Hah just kidding, stay safe and warm.

OMG, this Bomb Cyclone has impacted the entire USA! You may think that here in the AZ desert we just added more SPF50, but the winds caused ice damage. We plan to rebuild.

If you can't find any fresh ice down there, I know where you can get all you want.

    Dave,

I could be wrong, but I don't think you are supposed to park there. That would be strange getting a parking ticket on an interstate... ;-o)

All kidding aside, that weather is really dangerous! Glad you and yours are safe! Hang in there, spring isn't far away.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Steve,

We're on the mend. Like Bob said in an earlier post, this is Colorado. The roads clear quickly once the sun comes out and a plow goes through. We'll be close to 70 degrees later this coming week and my wife and I are headed to Hawaii the following week! This will just be a distant memory soon.
