    Question Mk4 gas tank- paint or not?

    The gas tank is steel. Don't know it it is rustproofed (galvanized)? Should I paint it?

    Bottom line is paint it or not according to your preference.

    Its treated, your call on painting. I tried, had a hard time getting good adhesion with the paint.
