    Mk IV Anniversary Front Tires

Edwardb and War Eagle Scott, I am getting close to buying tires. I have been down this road previously, but misplaced my notes. I am running power steering, if that makes a difference. I would like to use BF Goodrich Rival S 1.5 tires.
Looks like 245/40/18 front and 315/30/18 rear. Sizes are limited on this model tire, but I think I am within the accepted size, per your selections. Did either of you add or have to add steering limiters to your rack? I enjoy reading your post, but hope you do not mind helping with this. thanks,

I'm not either of those guys, but I have studied their threads extensively and can confirm that the sizes you list are the sizes that Edwardb used in his build as I just purchased the same sizes. I'd also love to hear if rack limiters are needed for this setup though, as I haven't yet installed them on the car.

I'll also point out that the Rival S 1.5 is a front-only tire. They don't make it in a 315 width, so if you're searching online you'll find the Rival S 1.5 in the 245/40R18 and the 'regular' Rival S in the 315/30R18 and it's OK to mix them.

Right. Those are the sizes I'm using on my Anniversary Roadster. I added one limiter on each side of my Breeze sourced Unisteer PS rack.

UPS man dropped these off yesterday. He commented on how light they are. This model tire is only available through Summit Racing. I tried to buy them local and even after calling Michelin, could not buy. No issues with Summit, they take my money quite often.
