Steering Shaft - FF Change Parts?

Working on the steering shaft today and noticed my parts are different from what is described in the manual. I have two U Joints, one with a 36 spline end that appears to go on my power steering rack and another that is a 1" DD U Joint x 3/4" U Joint.

I also have three separate lengths of shaft that appear to be 1) the hollow tubing the upper shaft goes into 2) the upper shaft and 3) the lower shaft.

I have fitted everything together and it seems to work but I haven't seen this setup in anyone else's build yet. What I have seen is the U Joints welded to the lower shaft and the hollow DD tubing.

Anyone else have this setup? Is it new?

Yes. They went from the 2 piece design to several pieces. I believe this was done so that more of the parts can be used across there kit line.
